Mmm... Cookies!

I'm a cookie fiend! Although I don't do many decorated cookies, I thought I would ask what are your favorite cookies?

Most people say chocolate. I have a favorite cookie and an explanation for it!

In my first apartment, I had a terrible oven that was part of the unit in the complex. I couldn't get a better oven for it, so for the two years I was there I made Snickerdoodles! I found those cookies did the best in the oven. It was constantly switching back and forth to pre-heating while I was baking and other cookies, pies and cakes did not do so well with that. My favorite apple bread couldn't hold up! But those Snickerdoodles, they were triumphant over the evil oven!

Do you have any victorious cookie stories?

No I don't really have any stories but my favorite are my mom's home made chocolate chip cookies. Although I just made some brown sugar cookes that were awesome! I love me some cookies

YourBakingMistress gets so mad at me because Chocolate Chip are my absolute favorite. She loves doing all the fancy designs, etc.... Then she asks me what kind of cookie I want her to bake, and I reply with my Chocolate Chip...

Then a roll of the eyes, a big *sigh*, and just turning around and heading back to the kitchen ensues.

I'd have to say my favorite is My grandma's recipe for sugar cookies! They are SO amazing and the bonus is now that i enjoy decorating i get to do that too!
but i do have to agree with you girls about the chocolate chip being good before AND after being cooked!!!!

i love snickerdoodles the best .... i have been making them since i was in grade school....hmmmm then i guess sugar cookies....
i LOVE sweets, and my waistline proves it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd have to go with shortbread. Melt in your mouth, buttery goodness! Simple and delicious!

Chocolate chip is a very close second, though...

Hhmmmm...tough decision...

I would have to say shortbread first, then pumpkin cookies!(Soft and delicious, but you cannot make shapes :( ), then a good sugar cookie, then FINALLY a chocolate chip!

(Can you tell we like cookies around here, lol!)
