Napoleon Creams

1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup flake coconut
1/2 cup butter
3 tbsp milk
1 (3 3/4 oz) vanilla instant pudding
2 cups powdered sugar
1 (6oz) pkg chocolate chips
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp paraffin (optional)

Step 1: Combine 1/2 cup butter, sugar, cocoa and vanilla in pan. Cook simmering until butter melts. Stir in egg continue cooking, stirring until mixture is thick, about 3 minutes. Blend in crumbs and coconut. Press into buttered 9" square pan. Chill until firm.

Step 2: Cream 1/2 cup butter thoroughly. Stir in milk, pudding mix, and powdered sugar. Beat until light and fluffy, spread evenly over crust. Chill until firm.

Step 3: Melt chocolate, 2 tablespoons butter and paraffin over simmering water. Cool, spread over pudding layer. Chill cut in 2 x 3/4" bars. Makes about 44 pieces.
