Sweetened Condensed Milk

I haven't tried this recipe yet, but if it works, then it should save a lot of money

Sweetened Condensed Milk

1 cup powdered milk
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup boiling water
3 tbsp melted butter

Pull all ingredients into blender and mix at high speed until smooth. Use this in any recipe that calls for Eagle Brand condensed milk. Makes 14oz.

Tell me about it. Sometimes Kroger will have 10/$10 sales on some of their baking supplies, including sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, etc. I also noticed that Walmart has their brand of sweetened condensed milk for a fairly inexpensive price, even though they're evil.

Yeah those are stock up times for me too! Walmart is eeeeeeeevil!

I used to think I was saving money by shopping there, but when I stopped shopping there and started shopping locally, I cut my grocery bill by MORE that 50%!!! I won't go there now unless I absolutely have to.
