Default problem :(

Icing too thin, is there a way to thicken it up without adding more pwder sugar? It is sweet enough I really do not want to go any sweeter. Will meringue powder help? I have no more ingredients to make more :(

I use cornstarch to stiffen up icing that is too thin or has gotten warm. Meringue powder is expensive!

meringue powder doesn't, at least mine doesn't or any I have heard of. I use ck products meringue powder, cheaper and I can get a 16 oz. jar of it and it lasts for a long time.
