icing cartridge
Take a sheet of plastic wrap and put your icing in the center at a diagonal and then take one corner over to the other corner and roll. Twist both ends. When your ready to use the cartridge you just cut off one end of the plastic wrap and insert in your pastry bag and your ready to go. When the cartridge is empty just remove and insert another cartridge. No mess in your pastry bag.

Re: icing cartridge
I always do this now! I call them icing plugs!! I use less bags, tips and couplers and clean up is soooo much easier because the tips don't get all clogged up with icing. Good post mona1949!!

Re: icing cartridge
ok I am slow today, how does this help with clogging tips/ I see how it would make cleaning your icing / pastry bags, just not the other stuff.
Sounds like an awesome thing if I can grasp it.

Re: icing cartridge
I have not tried it yet. But when I make my sleeping slumber baby I will let you know how it works.

Re: icing cartridge
Maybe you just snip a little bit off the plastic wrap and put it all the way down into the tip. When you squeeze the plastic wrap expands the the edges of the tip. Am I right? Does that make any sense?

In the video it showed the lady snipping off one of the twisted ends, and dropping it in to the bag. That's all I know and I am sticking to it.
