I get frustrated up here with all the people who will not allow management of our forrests. (sorry to anyone who does not believe in this... when you live in the middle of the forrested areas you understand more) When they managed the forrest and the under brush was kept down, trees thinned etc, we didn't have all the raging fires that we have now. Seems like someone might get a clue that forrest management is not all that bad if it burns up it is no good to anyone! On the way over the Santiam Pass here in Oregon a few years ago a fire raced through burning up thousands of acres of trees... it was such a beautiful place around Suttle Lake and now even 3 years later, it is still charred, barren land with burnt trees standing tall... no green... no beautiful forrest just a burned up mess. Now land slides since there is no tree roots to hold back the slides. What a mess. I better get off this subject. I could go on all day. It really irritates me!
Anyway... hope you are safe!

I agree with you. They should do the forrest management if it saves lives and nature
