It is so aggravating how high the prices are going and very quarter you hear that the oil companies make a record profit. I do not expect anything to happen soon, even though what is happening is wrong. Here, we live in a more rural area and there is no public transportation. My husband has to drive about 17 min one way to take DD to school and then go to work. Same trip back in the afternoon. I try to limit my errands to only once or twice a week if possible. If I need only a few things at the grocery, I get DH to stop on the way home. There will not be a vacation this year. We cannot afford the gas to go on a trip.
Budget is really tight right now.
