Well, I can't for my life find the thread now. Of course! But there is someone who makes "cupcakes in a jar", and it's a take off on that.
You bake your cake, and let it cool. Then cut out rounds with a donut cutter (or something similar), put one round in a mason jar, then some filling or icing, another round of cake, and so on. It's probably two or three servings of cake (or one, if you're me!) all in one little jar.
